The Sweet Springs Park, along with other businesses in Sweet Springs, WV, will be HONORING the families/survivors of all MIA/POW ARMED FORCES UNITS along with Veterans on September 17, 2022 by inviting Motorcyclists and owners of Antique Cars from 4 different states - local government representatives - local business people - Veterans - AND YOU to attend an Honor Rally here at the Sweet Springs Park. It will be a day filled with fun, food, and showing HONOR to the families and survivors that GAVE ALL to protect our freedoms.

The Head of the Dragon Motorcycle and Sports Car event will be held in Kimball, WV on October 1, 2022. Planning for this wonderful ride on McDowell County’s curvy, mountainous roads has been taking place for a year. This year’s event will be the biggest ever held as it will be in conjunction with the Kimball Fall Festival. Iaeger and Bradshaw also hold their festivals on the same day as the Head of the Dragon is a celebration of the adventurous and challenging experience of traversing the roadways of southern West Virginia. Free registration for the premiere West Virginia Head of the Dragon Motorcycle and Sports Car event starts at 9:00 a.m. with the Motorcycles pulling out to ride the beautiful, curvy roads of McDowell County at 11:00 a.m. The West Virginia State Police Motorcycle Detachment will join the ride of over 500 curves on the scenic yet challenging roads of southern West Virginia. Multiple awards will be presented to the motorcycle riders and sports car participants. One of the event highlights is the very popular and exciting motorcycle stunt group called “Stunt Army” from Charlotte, NC, which will perform throughout the day. This is an amazing show of motorcycle stunts by daring riders.
