For many years as we traveled to NC and TN and rode their really cool backroads with friends, we always complained that back home in WV we had the most amazing roads, but no one ever developed them.
Nearly 3 yrs ago the wheels of Backroads WV began turning. The Talon was the first concept and it was so well received that a long term plan was developed. A 5 year business model of pay as you go to bring on named rides to some of the coolest places in WV to ride. Met other like minded folks like Michael and Chris at The WV Hellbender along the way that had the same vision.
We are a long way from the envisioned goals of the entire state of WV becoming a motorsports retreat for backroad enthusiasts to enjoy. The support and cooperation of local mom and pop locations has been remarkable. With a little luck and dogged determination, in a few more years little ole West By Gawd Virginia will finally get on the motorsports map.
Thank you for your continued support and encouragement .
US Trademarks are coming along. Pandemic set them all back a bit. Y'all have no idea the expense, artwork, designing, promotional workings that go behind the scenes to bring these things online in a professional manner. Its totally worth it though. Its my sincere hope that these concepts have an impact and a lasting legacy for the wonderful people of WV and the amazing visitors who come to experience them.
We were going to unveil The Raptor at Saturdays Meet and Greet on The Shenandoah Sidewinder event, but due to the cold weather that moved in the ride/event isn't happening.
