Riding the Talon this weekend! Was thinking of riding route 61 out of Oak Hill to Charleston to bypass tolls. Advice or comments appreciated.

LZ Rainelle puts out over 11,000 flags on Memorial Day Weekemd in honor of every West Virginian that gave their life in service of our county in the military. The Ride For The Wall folks always stop here on their way to DC. Thanks WV Hellbender for sharing this moment with us. ... See MoreSee Less

Dingess Tunnel is a unique West Virginia treasure. Located in Mingo county WV the town of Dingess WV is accessed through an old railroad tunnel that's full of WV history. Whether its the ghosts that allegedly haunt it from train wrecks, or its part in the WV coal wars.

Here is the GPS location: goo.gl/maps/3k39PLbxxChLVtvA7

Hauled many a load of coal through that tunnel

Thanks. That was awesome.. I'd probably put that on my bucket list.

Is that a 2 way road? If so I'm guessing you would need to see if headlights are heading your way before entering

Then go north on 52, turn right on 137 up to Wayne then you can go west to Louisa Ky. Or east on 37 to East Lynn Lake then on to Rt 10 to rt 119.

how long is this tunnel?

Donald Patterson I am planning a trip to W. Virginia this year and I may have to ride.

That’s look like a hell of ride.

I'd like to know where all the bricks came from. That town is bricks and stone. Been there many times. Some of the best twisties in the state are on 16 South as soon as you turn off 52. It's also an hour or so from back of the Dragon.

Awesome love the videos

I've been about $13.00 to fill the bike up on a normal stop. Times two, we take turns paying.
